A father figure to the counter culture of the 60s, architect, innovator, designer—it would be easier to say what Buckminster Fuller isn’t. Starting back in March of this year to the end of this month, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has an exhibition about him and its exceptionally well done. Hurry in and check it out before July 29th. Sorry for the short notice!
I am drawn to Buckminster Fuller and his work because of what he did not only with the geodesic dome, but also his relationship with Stewart Brand, the founder of the Whole Earth Catalog. The catalog is no longer in print, but its a real trip to read and look through. It can be purchased for $5 in PDF format from the Whole Earth website.
